Who is Salleh Said Keruak?

Salleh Said Keruak ( speaker of Sabah State Legislative Assembly) wrote in his blog, “ Dr Mahathir has lost track of the economic realities”. He was commenting to Dr Mahathir criticism (teguran) on PM Najib administration.

It would be impossible to say that Dr Mahathir has lost track of the economic realities. Salleh Said Keruak is following his heart rather than his mind in suggesting that Tun Mahathir has lost track in economic realities just because he is supporting PM Najib.

He had failed to realised that  the rakyat respective of races and age had agreed and supported Tun Mahathir criticism on PM Najib leadership. The 7 points raised by Tun Mahathir is real.

Under Najib administration, those around PM  ( be Najib’s aids, friends, advisors or BN leaders) do not dare to make comment or criticise on PM Najib administration even though they know that the PM Najib has make mistakes in his policies and was not accepted by the rakyat. If these people around PM dare to criticise the PM than there is no reason for Tun Mahathir to voice out and criticise PM Najib.

The saying by Tun Mahathir, “sayangkan pemimpin tegur tegurkan”, but the people around PM who dare not criticise him was thinking, “Sayangkan pemimpin gilap-gilapkan”. This is similarily to the tales of a English King written by Tun Mahathir in his blog.

Tun Mahathir has never call for PM Najib to resign, he is criticing (tegur) PM najib as non of PM Najib’s supporters dare to crticise (tegur) him whenever there was mistakes done by the PM. If this were to continue than BN might lost more seats in the next general election.

I will not deal in depth the contents of Salleh Said Keruak attacking Tun Mahathir because what I can see he is using the Opposition Language.

The question now, Who is Salleh Said Keruak?  Yes, Salleh Said Keruak can reply/comment on Tun Mahathir criticism on his boss ( PM Najib) but please do it in a appropriate manner and with respect. Salleh Said Keruak must not forgotten that it was Tun Mahathir while holding office as the Prime Minister of Malaysia nominated him as a Sabah Chief Minister for the period of 28 December 1994 to 26 May 1996. I presume at the period of time he ( Salleh Said Keruak) was praising Tun Mahathir. Now he is attacking the same man who had indeed put him in a very much better position in Malaysia Politics especially in Sabah. Salleh Said Keruak must not forget that without Tun Mahathir promoting him ( as Chief Minister) and put him in a high and respectable position nobody would have know him especially in Sabah. Dont be a ungrateful politician.

During Tun Mahathir leadership he was a Chief Minister of Sabah but now he is a Speaker of Sabah State Assembly. I don’t know whether this is promotion or demotion.

There is a malay saying, “ Habis manis, sampah dibuang”, “Sudah lepas jembatan tongkat dibuang” dan “Jangan jadi si Tanggang”.

I urge ruling party politician especially from UMNO,PM Najib aids and who ever strongly supported the PM, you all need to be micro-manage leaders. Only micro-manage leaders and supporters could see clearly the seven points raised by Tun Mahathir and the problem faces by the rakyat. At any case if these group of people could only “praised PM Najib for doing wrong things” and if that continues don’t blame the rakyat if they don’t support PM Najib leadership and don’t blame Tun Mahathir for making such criticism on Najib.

I can see Tun Mahathir will not stop criticising on PM Najib leadership  if he found necessary to do for the sake our the Nation. He had done it during Tunku and Pak Lah terms, for the betterment of our country. You all can see what happen today, after Tun Mahathir left. The leadership after Tun Mahathir are weak  when dealing with the oppositions or the pressure groups.
